The Torino Convention Bureau was set up in
May 2000 to promote the city of Turin and its metropolitan
area as a convention destination.
The Bureau's constitution as a non-profit
consortium-corporation reflects the intention of its founding
members to create a customer service organization for the
development of the enormous potential the city and the region
have-modern infrastructure, natural and historic patrimony,
internationally famous cuisine and wines.

Our 80 members
come from the public and private sectors of the convention
trade.
The city and the provincial governments,
the Chamber of Commerce, the Industrialists' Association,
the Turin bank foundations (San Paolo and CRT) were
instrumental in creating an organization that they continue
to support.
Our operative members, listed under the rubric "
TCB members", represent the various aspects of professional
conference organization, including convention centers, hotels,
conference organizers, exhibition stand contractors, technical
services, historic venues and museums.
The element they all share is the commitment
to demonstrating not only the capabilities the city and its
metropolitan area have as a convention destination, but also
the high quality level of services offered.
The guarantee of quality is a hallmark on events organized
in Turin.
The Bureau works closely with local
public bodies and with Turismo Torino, the hospitality and
visitor services agency.
This collaboration enables us to provide conference participants
with themed itineraries, visitor information and hospitality
services, and personalized logistical solutions that are only
possible with a profound knowledge of the city and the surrounding
area.
